Management
Tobias Schwind is one of the co-founders and Managing Directors of Industrial Solar GmbH. Previously he worked for over 7 years as an Investment Manager for the Fraunhofer Venture group. He also supported start-up companies in their preparation for Initial Public Offering on stock exchanges and venture capital financing through a consulting company specialising in corporate finance. Tobias Schwind has amassed many years of practical experience in the area of Business Development, in the development of business partnerships as well as the management of Key Accounts for a large SME.
Christian Zahler (Dipl.-Phys.) is also one of the co-founders and Managing Directors of Industrial Solar GmbH. He was the Project Manager for PSE AG since their formation in 1999 and was instrumental in the development and success of both of the "Test Stands" and "Solar Process Heat" technological business sectors. In addition to his role as the manager of the "Solar Thermal" department, he was also responsible for the public relations of PSE AG. In order to study Physics at the Universities of Ulm and Freiburg, he joined the "Thermal and Optical Systems" department of Fraunhofer ISE in 1995 where he produced his Diploma thesis. Christian Zahler is well known internationally and has built up an extensive network of contacts in the Solar Thermal industry.
